  • Have your North Light Specialty Insurance Company policy number and policy holder information available when you call.
  • Please provide all phone numbers, including temporary ones, where we can reach you during the claims process.
  • Be prepared to fax or submit documentation to your local claims office.
  • If your damaged property requires immediate attention, consider making temporary repairs to prevent further loss. This may involve hiring a qualified professional to assist you. North Light Specialty's homeowner policy has a reimbursement provision for reasonable and necessary temporary repair costs (up to a specified limit) that you incur while trying to protect your covered property from additional damage resulting from a covered loss. So please be sure to save these receipts for consideration of reimbursement.

  • Keep and provide detailed receipts, photographs, household goods and appliance manuals and videos of the damaged property.
